This section specifies the rules that dictate how the participants in official guild raids are required to perform.
The guild will run mandatory raids on the days and times specified in the current
raid schedule and roster. Guild members who have requested and been accepted in to permanent positions on these raids are required to keep an 80% or greater attendance for those days they're rostered. This will be based on the 30-day average each month.
Any raider needing to miss a raid or part thereof, or needing to miss a number of raids for a planned vacation, should post this on the
away thread on the forum, giving considerate notice.
All raiders are required to have guild connect installed and password known
Guild Connect and ready to use when necessary.
Raiders must meet the minimum raider requirements as defined in the current
recruitment policy. When the policy is changed, such as when an increase in the level cap occurs in game, a grace period will be granted to allow existing raiders to meet the new requirements.
Raiders must familiarise themselves with the strategies posted in the
raid encounter information section pertaining to the raid encounters currently in our schedule.
Where the raid leadership deems it necessary, consumables such as potions, relics, deity abilities or repair kits may be mandated to be brought to raids. Such requirements, whether ongoing or for a specific planned raid, will be published in advance and must be met.
During 4-hour raids there will be two 5-minute breaks, and during 3-hour raids there will be one 10-minute break. Although raiders taking occasional unscheduled breaks in exceptional circumstances will not be chastised, numerous such improprieties will not be considered acceptable.
Raiders may be assigned certain goals specific to their class, such as damage output, cure reaction times, aggro-acquiring effectiveness, and healing output as examples. Where these goals are not being achieved consistently, the player will be counselled to address the shortcoming.
Raiders must follow instructions given both in strategy literature and in voice or typed chat by the raid leaders. It is reasonable to expect mistakes and poor luck, particularly during initial attempts at new encounters, but where errors are being made due to obvious lack of focus and attention, such mistakes are considered unacceptable.
